Photography from a trip to Andean Ecuador in January 2011, under the guidance of Glenn Bartley and David Hemmings. Three days at Tandayapa, two at Mindo Loma, four at Guango Lodge (including an excursion to the highlands.) Some of the photos were made using a high-speed multiflash setup to "freeze" the hummingbirds in flight, one of Glenn's (many) specialties. I am grateful to Allen Chartier for his help in identifying species new to me, and correcting some errors in the original designations, as well as to Glenn and David for this exceptionally well-run tour.
